Meet Syra!

Syra joined our rescue a couple of weeks ago when her family could no longer care for her, but luckily, one of our amazing foster homes was able to step in and give her a safe place to land. At just 9.5 months old, this pittie mix is still a young pup with plenty of energy, love, and tail wags to share! In fact, when she meets new people, she gets so excited that she does a happy little dance with play bows - you’ll never see a tail wag harder! Syra has lived with kids before and did well with them, making her a great family companion. She enjoys being around other dogs and loves to play, but she’s still learning how to introduce herself in a calm and polite way. Sometimes her enthusiasm takes over, and her greetings can be a little too excited and loud, which can make new dog friends a bit wary at first. But once she gets past that initial excitement, she’s all about having fun and could live with an easy going friendly dog! That said, she’d also be perfectly happy being your one and only. This sweet girl is looking for a family who will take her on adventures - she loves to explore and would thrive with an active home. But don’t worry, once the day’s excitement is over, she’s all about curling up on the couch for some snuggles and R&R!
